Just lowered my front with maxspeeds

Hey,

I just finished lowering the front of my car, but didn't do the back yet. I was wondering if this setup is safe to drive around on. I went for a test drive and it felt like the back is now more prone to oversteer on hard turns. I didn't change my shocks. And it doesn't look too bad just lowered in the front.

Technically if you firm up the front the car should push more.

I drove a couple days with just the front lowered on mine. Nobody really noticed though.

You should take your own advice, and then do the front too

Install from hell!!

Installing these springs was the worst experience I've ever had. First one of my key lugn nuts snaped in half while I was trying to unscrew it because it was over tighted the day before by the mechanic who did my brakes. Then my key stripped for the lug nuts while we were trying to take off the broken lug nut with an impact gun. Then I spent about 3 hours at home trying to unscrew the stripped lug nut out with no luck. We had to use welding equipment to melt the lug nut off. Fortunatly that worked. Today I put the front springs in with out a problem. However when I got to the last rear spring later on in the day, instead of loosening the strut nut my dumb a$$ started tightning the nut with all the force I have. . I forgot that everything is reversed from the other side of the car. So I ended up stripping this nut too . Some how I managed to change the spring without taking the strut out, don't ask me how I did it because I won't be able to tell you. The install took me 8 hours total with a lunch brake. If not for the damn stripped nut in the rear I would have saved about an hour.

Sorry for the long post, but I just had to vent.

Peace.

I feel for you bro. I did my springs by myself with no air tools. Took me 5 hours front and back. Thank God nothing got stripped or went wrong. The rear only took me 1 hour, the fronts was the b1tch..
Gives you good satisfaction when you are done though

I had mine just the front for a night and it was pretty fun. It was like an old drag car.
