Ok, so a couple times i THOUGHT that i saw the seat belt light on the dash pop on, but wasnt sure because i didnt notice if it was on before i noticed it on.
Tonight, Im stopped at a light, and Looking at the dash...i watch the seat belt sign pop on out of now where. What is that about? I thought i was crazy, but i guess its just a bad switch??

 

The point where the seat belt clicks in is where you should dig around. A bad connection might make the light flicker. a bad switch is definately a good guess.

 

I thought only my old Pontiac did that?

Check that switch like Jeff said.

if you smoke it might be the tar building on the ground or whatever shuts the light off

I got the same problem with my 93 max se..im driving and out of no where the seat belt light comes on and ruins the whole mood of things..plus when I press my horn it goes off sometimes..and also...if i press my rear defogger it goes off and the radio gets all staticy..wha da hell is goin on?
