I just rewire my fog lights in 10 min....

....including opening of the "black box" where it is labeled "fog?".
This is the most GHETO setup. I didn't drill holes nor broke anything.
I used a knife and electrical tape because I had no wire strippers.....mmm strippers! LMAO. ANYWAY HERE ARE THE PICTURES!

took me only 5 minutes to do it. Go in the box, Cut a wire, use a tap into another wire and tape it up.

If i did it again, the only time would be opening the fuse box.

the write up in the how to's looks like it will take a lot longer than 10 mins. Did you follow the instructions or did you wing it yourself?

It took longer than 10minutes. I raced through my fog light rewire and it still took me 28minutes. I timed it.

Lift hood, open box, find first wire, find second wire, cut, tap, reassemble.

When I did this, I had opened my box before, So i knew how to open it this time. I figured out a way to open it without taking the whole thing apart. Once you get the Clips open from the engine side you can open the box in HALF. It is made of 2 parts. It took me only 10 min to do this because it was so cold I needed to finish QUICK. I used a Box Cutter Knife not a Stripper. Taped it up at the end with Electrical tape. (No need to sodier. You only need to twist the wires tightly.)

BTW: I just ordered Piaa Extreme White Bulbs for the Fogs.
$20 each. 4150K close to our HID 4300K.

1. take off fuse box cover
2. undo clips holding the top half of the fuse box on
3. run a long wire out of box (there are vents on the bottom half of the box, you can slip it through, and it has to be long enough to reach the headlight)
4. (for 2k2-2k3) Cut the blue wire w/ silver dots a few inches from the relay (under the part that says FR fogs) and connect your NEW wire to it. (blue wire from relay connects to new wire)
5. Other end of new wire splices into (do not CUT) the green wire for the corner lights (that are right above the blinkers)

Done

I have a question. Noone seems to know how to have the fogs on w/ the high beams on, and was wondering if you could connect maybe a wire from the high beams to the same wire you put in there. (that connected the cornering lights and relay)?

Still won't work.
The problem is that the foglight relay (switch-side) circuit GROUND passes through the high/lowbeam switch, and it only allows ground conductance in LOWBEAM mode.
The easy, but ghetto solution for this is to install your own switch between the foglight relay's ground wire and a real ground. This will become your new foglight switch. But that's ghetto, since you'll still have your foglight switch on the steering column arm.
I've yet to fully evaluate the layout to see if it's possible to tap a wire in the steering column, or if you have to disassemble the steering column and internally rewire the combination switch to get it working. Maybe I'll do it someday when I'm bored, or when it's warm out (i.e. this spring )

twisting wires together and saying thats all it needs ...............break out the glue, tape and string while your at it. Spend another 10 minutes and do it right, then you won't have crusty corrodded wires in 6 months. You should be ashamed to do that to a nice car.

Okay, so I took off my fuse box cover and I took a picture which looks something like this:

http://images.cardomain.com/member_i...681_3_full.jpg

At this point, I can see the blue/silver dotted wire running through, but it's impossible to tap that wire into another because I have no room to work with. What's next?

didn't i already explain it? There are 3 tabs on the box from the engine side and 2 form the fender side--Those are the worst to get off.
