Haven't driven personally but one of the top 5 autocross tires. Dry grip approaches the KD and Azenis. Tremendous wet traction provided a Sentra FTD (fastest time of day) against ALL other cars on a very wet course.

I have the KA version on my C5 and they are the best dry tire out there but they wear very fast. Some get only 10k out of rears.

I had them on my old 3rd Gen. Great on dry, ok in rain, sucked *** in the snow. Ask Chris91SE how he liked them since he bought my wheels/tires back then. Last I remembered, he skidded out and killed two wheels.

I never had any experiences with the Nittos, but I did with Sumitomos HTR4. I really liked the Sumitomos. They held up well in all weather conditions and they were quieter, too. My next set of tires may be the Sumitomos again. Mainly cuz they're cheap too.

I have the all-season version...the T/A KDWS. These are the best tires I've had. Can't make them break on a curve, great in the rain, really really good in the snow. Quieter and better mileage than the KDW. Didn't really answer your question but I like the KDWS.

Another ditto. Fantastic tires (KDWS). Best tires I've had so far. I drive the snot outta them, and it looks like I'll be able to eek 30K miles outta them. If I drove like a normal person, 35-40K would likely be doable.

I got the KDW's last spring to use as a summer tire. The current KDW is the second version, it has a different tread pattern. I like them a lot. Dry and wet traction is excellent, although they are noticeably noisier than all-seasons. I put about 11000 miles on them and they look less than halfway gone.

I second the KDWS as being the best tire I have had...i have 235 45 17 is that matters but when i was deciding on tires I bought them from tires.com but i believe tirerack.com also has something somewhat like this...where feedback is used on the tire and the KDWS was better than anything I compared it to...but you could search around on there and see what is best for you KDW or KD or KDWS....

That's a good point. Go to Tirerack.com and compare the KDWS to the very popular Dunlop SP5000s. They are a great all-season tire.
