I want to buy a cuistom grill and valence from custommaxima.org because I think it would look sweet on a silver maxima. My question is the Nissan symbol on the existing factory grill. On custommaxima is sort of implies that you must buy a replacement logo ($19). Is it impossible to save the factory one? I'm unsure if the whole factory grill comes off or if the custom one just goes over top.

Those inserts go over the grill. We have it on our show car. Check the pics if you like. There are other grills that do replace the existing grill so maybe you might want to look into those.

 

The best look to me as far as the emblem goes is buying a chrome nissan license plate with just the emblem on it and taking it off and super glue it to the grill. It looks real nice and sets it off cuz its not to big and not to small. Ill post pics of it soon

 

just take out the emblem off the stock grill its the same thing
