Yokohoma AVS ES100....good?

I need some new front tires 225/45/17 (I've got Kumho 712's now)....the Yok's are only 5 bucks more and if they're better I'll just go with them. Just lookin for anyone with experience with em.

I had those on my 2k Max for about 15K Miles. They have great traction when it is warm, and dry. The cold and wet traction left more to be desired, but it wasn't terrible. The only thing that I was not all too happy with was the treadwear, I didn't get much life out of those tires.

From what I've read in reviews in magazines and with performance drivers, they are a good tire with a great value. Superior to Kumho 712s most certainly.

I love my Yoko's. Treadwear isn't very good for me but I drive pretty hard stop and go plus up and down hills all the time. I only got 27k out of my last 60k miles Michelins.
