Why was my sig deleated from my account?

I guess it was the almighty Max.org god....
yeah, its a public forum, but just like city there are rules and regulations set down by the mayor, president, etc. and in this forum we all know who that is.........

Re: Why was my sig deleted?
This is a public forum with rules, though. I deleted it because in the face of the thread that you posted in (which was about taking them out for the benefit of everyone else), it was not appropriate, nor is it appropriate now.
You have 24 hours to comply with the request to remove it.
Thanks.

Re: Re: Why was my sig deleted?
everything was fine until you guys start posting those big 'showy' pictures... so I replaced my 'girls dig maxima' picture before I get into trouble. It was fun while it lasted... I guess even the maxima god agreed on that one ... thanks for all those good comments and support =)

Re: Jambo
She is welcome to do that. Just follow 'The Nickelodeon Rule' when she poses. I know you'll do what's right.
However, your current sig is not appropriate, and why would you want to post it anyway -- this is a Maxima forum.

JAMBO..
sure the sig will soon be gone.. but besides that lets say my g/f wants to pose for a shot, (the girl in my sig is fully clothed) she has to be more covered up? if it were a ugly fat girl noone would say anything.. also jambo, i posted it because i thought a lot of the guys here would like it. and many, many people did.. i don't want to argue or anything and sorry if i offended you..
p.s. i really don't think anyone would lose their job over that pic..(worker to boss)> umm, its a car site..it improves my ability to work.

Re: JAMBO..
She's fully clothed, but come on -- you know that it's not a tasteful picture. If your girlfriend wants to pose next to the car, that's fine. Just use good judgement when posting sig pics. That's really all I'm asking.

This whole deal is such BS.
I mean, shiet, in the pic in wicked1044's sig, the women's breast is alot smaller, it will prolly pass.
I started to like the Buddism saying "evil resides in your mind". If you mind is pure and innocent, a material subject such as a pic of a big breast women is not evil, only when you have unholy thinking towards that pic, that's when you start calling it inappropriate.

Your probably right. But then again, if they were smaller, I would wicked would not have used the pic in the first place. So I think the evil was pre-existant?
A naked woman in a picture is art to some and lewd to others. Since it's Jambo's site, I think we have to respect what he deems appropiate.

I think that if anyone is worried...
that what they are looking at could EVER pose a threat to their job, or affend others there... Then they simply should not be looking at work. How many of you (mechanics basically) who this information could help, sit ibn front of a comp all day to post anyways? And if you are a mechanic, you probably know more then most on here anyways, and you're the one helping so you're still not learning anything. You're getting paid to work, not to sit and post at max.org...but hey, if you wanna do it anyways and take the risk (I am not saying I wouldn't if I could...) then you shouldn't complain to others to tailor for you. But, regardless of all of that ^^^ Jambo owns the board, so I'll comply with anythign reasonable that's asked, and so should everyone else.

i will fire his a$$ right away.
but what does that mean???
that mean one should not surf the internet while being paid by doing your work. simple as that.
your metality is wrong, it's like saying, i know stealing is wrong, so instead of not to steal, i will try to steal but not get caught.
see the point??

listen.. its not a censorship issue and don't look at it that way..
a lot of people visit maxima.org from school or home or whatever and hey your picture is cool...
but for the small few that actually visit from work it is hard for them, a lot of people use this site as a valuable resource and contribute to this site greatly and they feel that they choose to come here during working hours..
now if their boss comes over and a guy has a maxima in his sig.. the boss can say oh a car site whats that.. and they can explain how this site helps you to benefit more about your car and teach you tricks and trades and their boss will be impressed..
it is very hard to explain to your boss you are on a car site when you have a picture of a woman's cleave showing, worse of all with the escallation of law suits and sexual harrasment you are putting EVERY working individual wether male or female in emminent danger when you have that picture in their sig.. the day the person who doesn't like you or someone from work see's your picture and then it straight to HR and that person is fired..
so think to yourself.. is it worth you arguing with Jamie to prove a point because you want a picture in your SIG? when it could cost a man with wife and kids to loose his job and his source of income in the process? THINK about it for a long while... its not fair when some guy has to go home to his wife and say i got fired because YOU want to PROVE a point.. just be cool about it and removed the sig please..

but, if that's REALLY the reason you are visiting the site, I am sure the boss will understand also that you are surfing a place for help but just so happens there is a pic of two of big breast women there.
see, if one is worried that a big pic here will increase the chance of him/her getting caught at work, he/she really shouldn't be doing this in the 1st place.
now, i know, some people are gonna disagree and say their work allow surfing internet as long as no x-rated material. guess what? i don't believe that. prove it to me.

work
both of my parents have exteremly strict limits on web surfing. NONE, directly work related. My dad isn't even allowed to send email to my mom anymore. I know some of you have to have similar situations, so why woudl your boss let you surf about cars?

if something is not allowed, th good way is not to do it, the lame way is to do everything else to prevent being found out that you did thing you aren't allowed.

sounds fine to me.
no pics at all, instead of evaluating each case to see what's appropriate what's not.
