Photochoppers I need help.

Can some one photoshop my center console in Red. I've been thinking of fiberglassing my center console and getting it painted the same color of my car. What do you think? I like the aluminum Dash kit, but i don't know how well it will match my car. I was thinking to maybe use this pic

Thanx in advance

RedMax. Go ahead and post a pic of your car as well, so we can get the exterior color right. BTW, did you happen to see my painted dash at the January meet? If not, I got some pics of it. You may consider that as well.

I dont think you have to fiber-glass it, the finish is pretty good already I had my gauge bezel painted the same time as my car and it looks just a smooth and shiny as the outside. and they didnt do any prep-work to it.

i wouldnt recommend painting the dash itself unless you plan on sanding, sanding, sanding and sanding it down and then primering it and using lots of light coats of paint.. if you have someone or you know how to fiberglass that will be the better way to go because you have a smaller chance of it scratching and fading especially.

if you want to see something go to www.teameci.com and go to the members section, look for a blue celica and he has a full painted dash and then look for a green eclipse, his is all fiberglass.. its a huge difference in person, pictures may not look it, but trust me, you know which one was done right (eclipse).

Unless he means the dash and not just the console I think it would be fine with-out glass, isnt it smooth in 4th gens? My body shop told me when they do mine there just going to scuff the flat pieces ( switch plates , gauge bezel etc..) and then prime them and paint them as they would a car, he said the pieces with the grain or pattern on them they would probably just block out and bondo it smooth then paint. he said with a good base and clear it would resist scratching fine.
