I bought my RVM pulley in the GD. In the installation sheet it states:
Also the finish on the rear where it meets the crank seal is not smooth at all; I can see and feel a ridge. Should I be worried?

Mine didn't come with one but the pulley looks exactly like the ones posted by other people who have them installed. Any one who recently purchased the RVM UDP have this steel oil sleeve installed? I'm a bit worried since UR and that other guy selling his own UDP has either a brass or steel insert pressed onto the rear so the rubber seal wont wear it away. I called the guys up at RVM and asked them about that. They said just to be careful not to break the seal.
Yeah I have a new crank seal ready for the install. So I guess the rubber wont wear out the aluminum then.
I couldn't understand why there is an instruction for a nonexistent part...unless there's a version 2 out there and they accidentally slipped me the wrong instructions. Cause of course I'd rather have the newer one

Anyone know what a new seal will cost me at Nissan?
I'm going to be installing my pulley in the next week or two
