Thinking about staying in the family

So as you guys may know I sold my max last winter. Well I have been going back and forth with what I wanted to do. First it was an A4 1.8t, then a WRX, then just a 2-3k alty and save my money. NOW i am thiking about getting a 300zx TT for 7-9k and drive it 6 months of the year then a 2-3k alty for the winter. What do you all think about this idea? Hardest part, of course, is finding the Z (If anyone knows of one for sale lemme know!)

i've been going back and fourth too, but after lots of decisions, i finally decided on going with a 5th gen in white. i think you should just wait a bit and get a 2k2 WRX, as soon as the new sti's come out depreciation is going to work in your favor. as for the altima, get a maxima instead

Yeah thats what i was going to do, wait till summer and get a 2k2. But I am still in love with 300zxs... of course a WRX will be almost as fast (not as cool looking) less miles, awd, and I wont have to have two cars. But with the Z it will be a damn cool 2 door sports car, and even after buying both cars it will be less than the cost of the WRX

It is much easier to find a Altima with 90k or so with most options (Power locks windows, ac, etc) for 2-3k than it is a maxima with simlar miles and condtion. Tons of people want 3rd gens now a days.

I doubt the STi (pushing $30k) is really going to affect the resale of the regular WRX all that much ($23k)
