Boost is boost for the most part. I think the awsome time that Matt put up is mainly because of the work that he's put into the car and pratice at the track.
The man obviously know's what he's doing. Anyone else in his car would be far slower.

I think the tubes and screws really help the slicks because I got my best 60' of 1.778 at 13.5psi, I tried lower, down to 11pisi but that gave only 1.8xx.
Thats it for me for race trim, I will probably go back to the track with street trim a few times just to see what she will do in the real world with out slicks etc. Now to focus on the motor project.
Thanks to all those who helped me along the way, Phil, Steve(Chicago), Jime, John at J&S, even Don. Thanks to my moral support crew, Del, Brett, Jason. And a special shout out to my wife Anne!!! Dam I got it good, a wife who puts up with this insanity. And last but not least thank you Jesus!
Wooohooooo FASTEST MAXIMA IN THE USA!!!
Fastest VQ in the USA?

Jeez, the other car was some trailer queen full on RWD domestic full out race car. I was red. Had big slicks. Was loud. And it whooped me.
But on my third run I did run against a SS Camaro that had skinnies in the front and slicks in the rear. He did a massive burn out. Muuhahahahahah little did he know what he was running against, I hadnt used the juice yet. Check the slip marked SS.

Your 60 foots are amazing. However, the most amazing thing is the fact that you've done very little to the car plus your tranny is showing no signs of protesting.

Maybe he's still granny shifting, with a 6 puck clutch, 430 to the wheels and 1.8 and 1.7 short times, he's doing something right. Matt if you are still babying the shifts I think you should make just one run when you go all out, ***** to the wall, banging gears and see what she'll do. A new tranny is only like $200
BTW how about those bumper support weights?

Am I seeing that right, 110 mph boost only, then 117 mph with nitrous? That is crazy that you are basically picking up 7-8mph from only a 35 shot of spray. The intercooler effect from the nitrous must be huge. Nice times!
