HID guys, got a question...

lets say I have a 9004 6000K kit, 35w, blah, blah...I'm doing a full headlight housing conversion and the new housing uses an H3 bulb...can I simply buy some 6000K H3 replacement bulbs(no ballasts, etc.) and plug them up to the original/existing ballasts I already had with no problems???(provided its made by the same manufacturer and has the same plug) or do I have to just go and buy a full H3 kit(ballasts and all)??

also where is a good place to buy replacement HID bulbs anyways??

Thanks for any help

It should be just a simple swap but it depends on the kit. If it's a philips ballast, then it's a simple swap.

I have had nothing but positive things to say about autolamps (www.autolamps-online.com). They are in England but shipping is free and the customer service is the best!

cool, thats what I was hoping to hear...I'll definently check that place for the bulbs. I'm pretty sure the ballasts are Phillips!
