still very interested in this project...except i have a VE and i'm looking to mount the "SC" on my former AC compressor's bracket.

This seems to be quite a noble effort. What size compressor do you have there? I hope its not just a t4. If you can look up knightturbo, I think there in FL you may just find a wheel from a much larger turbo that you can get to replace that tiny one that needs to spin upwards of 50k rpm to get good boost. Just keep in mind how large the compressor wheel in a vortech unit is and the multiplication of the gearing inside which gets the compressor wheel into the 40k+ rpm range. With the size compressor you have and the limited rpm with such a small wheel you may only see 1-2 psi of boost. Shoot me an email if you cant find the # for knight turbos. Geoff Knight is his name and he is a nut about non-traditional boost. Later.
