My Car noooooo
I stopped at a stop light and I saw my oil light blink about 5 months ago. After the first 3 months I changed my oil. I put 4 quarts in and I only had two quarts of oil left. I was like what heck I know some oil goes away but two quarts. Now after another 2 months the light came on again just a blink when I stop. I changed my oil the next day and I only had less than a quart. Im very upset. I don't know were the leak is comming from. I put card board under the car and no leak and no bluish smoke comming out the exahust. I do have a small valve gasket leak but I shouldnt have one quart left because of that. I have changed the pcv pipe and valves. I dont know whats going on. I have 116,000 on the engine and use nissan filter and valvoline maxlife 10w-30 someone help please.

bummer, but it seems like ur covering all the bases. What i would do is get the oil changed at the dealer or mechaninc once and have them inspect it. Just tell them to check for any leaks and hopefully they will be able to diagnose the problem and then u maybe tackle it urself. g'luck

Now that your aware your car is consuming oil. Check it once a week via the dip stick. Don't wait for the idiot light to come on. The oil light indicates your oil pressure is low, and thats not good for the engine.
