WOT
I hear a lot of people saying that going WOT is crazy, especially at low mileage. I have a 98 Camry 4 cyl on top of my 2001 Max. Since I started driving the Camry I have almost always gone WOT because it has a weakass 4 cyl. At every light, any on-ramp, anytime I could. The ******* floor borad has a dent in it where the pedal comes in contace from pushing so hard. For almost three years I have gone WOT and have not noticed any problems. Just wondering what you guys think.

But seriously, when I had a 88 camry, I pushed that thing waaaay harder than I do my Max and I think it held up better too
If you drive a slushbox, then I think your tranny will be the weak link.EZ

wtf.
i went wide open when i test drove the car. now, that was fun, esp with the dealer sitting in the back seat. I open up the can of whoopass everyday on my max, besides the lower gas mileage, there should be no problems... just make sure the car is properly warmed up before revvin' past 3k.....
See, I do it all the time too, one guy here said that he waited until his car had 11,000 miles on it before he tried. That sounds like a load of **** to me, I didn't pay 25,000 for a car so I could wait almost a year before I could have fun with it.
I've had mine 5 years, and I'm not the easiest on my car, check out pic in sig. I haven't had any problems with the engine, just regular maintenance. Nissan makes their engines very well. I wouldn't worry about it. Just let it warm up and it should be fine.
