A good plastic cleaner for headlights...?

I want to clean up my headlights and I don't know what is good and what will make it worse, I also heard that rubbing compound will work too.

I used mothers mag cleaner and it worked fantastically, try it its in a liitle tub thing. just whipe it on with a rag and rub it in good, then repeat a few times till you get the results you want...

You are very correct, go to pep boys they will have heavy, medium and light rubbing compound, get the light rubbing compound work it into the outside of the headlight thoroughly then wipe off with a clean rag, reapeat depending on how bad your lights are until they look like new.

I also was(and still am) in the market for plastic cleaner/polish. I purchased meguiars system and it is decent but not that great. Then surfing the net last week i came across this stuff called Plexus. It is supposed to be the best stuff out. Im going to give it a try sometime soon.
