How is he saying that he holds the copyright for stuff other people wrote? If he wants you to take the write-ups he did off, fine. To have you take down how-tos just because they have been hosted by him at a point is such a pansie way for him to go out.

 

So the ones that have names next to them can be replaced by the content creators and republished, right? Or did he take the work of others and put his own copyright on it? Seems interesting to me that some of this may be considered public domain, designed and distributed for public consumption and distribution. But that's another argument.
Cheston has some of those items covered in his How2 section (when his site is back online). Let's see what's really left to do over. I spy a few on the list that I could cover.

I asked Russ to post in his defence on Max-World. Go there and read what he has to say but don't start flaming him there too. I am not doing this to stir things up even though it probably will. I was not privy to the inner workings of the ORG at that point to identify why XXXXXXXX was banned, or whether/if/who/when/what/why/how he was harassing. Obviously I did not feel harassed by XXXXXXXX. It is because of XXXXXXXX that I met XXXXXXXX. If XXXXXXXX had harassed me, do you think I would date his friend? Or do you think XXXXXXXX and XXXXXXXX would continue to have the friendship that they do? Let's be realistic here, as abrasive as he may be, XXXXXXXX has never done me any harm. The only thing remotely related to any sort of sexual innuendo that ever transpired between XXXXXXXX and I, was in a ORG AIM chat room one afternoon with about 15 other members in which XXXXXXXX and I joked about racing for underwear, it was an innocent exchange, we were goofing with each other, it eventually spilled over into some org posts, and a nice big laugh at the meets later that fall. It was actually in THAT chat room, THAT very day that I first talked to XXXXXXXX, so again, why would I ever accuse XXXXXXXX of harassment?

Brian... I don't know you, and I am not trying to be rude, but as I said before Russ did in fact know that XXXXXXXX and I were (are) an item. It has come up in several conversations, on the phone, on AIM, and obviously if you read my old posts enough you will see that a good portion of them are playing with XXXXXXXX. As a matter of fact there were even several pictures of us together at a couple of different meets last year posted in the General forum. This is not a secret, it was out there for all to know. As Luke stated in this thread he has been on the ORG less than a year and he knew it.

In conclusion, it is sad that people confuse reality with on-line issues, I came to this forum in 1999 because of my love for the maxima and to make many new friends. First request? How about only request when I didn't have time to respond, or even check emails? Oh right, you didn't care because you were banned from Maxima.org for lies and rumors.

I straight up call on this. Didn't you read the 3 links I posted? I don't have the emails where you gave me permission because those were to my hotmail account. I was close to the quota limit so I had to remove a lot of emails... now I regret deleting yours.

Don't bring Jared into this. He didn't do anything... Jared, you don't have to answer this because I don't want you to get stuck between a rock and a hard place. I know the answer already, so thank you for your non-response.
