B&M here... It's not adjustable height wise but it sits just as low as the Pacesetter.. Some ppl like the Pacesetter since it's cheaper and serves the same purpose. If not installed right the Pacesetter can be really notchy. B&M is pretty much the same as the Stillen one.

I went with the "value" approach & got a Pacesetter. My only complaint is that to install it, I had to grind down the plastic pivot ball. It was too big by ~1mm dia. to fit in the "holder" thing. I know someone who's had a Pacesetter for 3 years & has not had a single problem (whether notchiness or worn synchro).

How did you grind the ball down? I do not have a dremel so its hard for me to do. Can I just use sand paper?

I used a dremel tool. If you have a sander, that **might** work. It might be a little tricky holding firmly onto the ball. if doing by hand, try a coarse grit sandpaper. I know, it's a PITA with the Pacesetter.

I don't think the B&M has this problem. I guess what is you get is related to what you pay.

If you do get your hands on one, the grinding will be a lot easier and controlled.
I shaped mine by grinding the ball down "northern hemisphere" first, then the other; going from from the "pole" to the equator so to speak. Grind a thin layer off at a time & test for fit in the holder so you don't shave off too much.

Get the B&M it's high quality and is a full replacement rather than a partial replacement with the Pacesetter.

Ok, I'll drive the stock one for awhile and then order the B&M from summitracing.com later. Thanks.
