Your hands look good, but the intake looks like crap.

Just kidding Chris. It looks pretty good. How many times did you wet sand with the ultra small grit sand paper? What polish are you using as well?

That looks pretty damm good chris. I would say hit it up with some polishing compound and 1000-2000 grit a couple times and then get some really good aluminum polish (mothers is okay and there is stuff called glisten and extreme that work well).

It's a battle with powdercoating because the **** is baked on. If you contact someone who does a lot of work with powdercoating they make a spray that will dissolve all the powdercoating off, make sure not to get it on or near your car cuz it will rip your paint a new assshole.

Good luck, and if you decide you want to just chrome it, let me know, I get really good prices on chrome.. should have some pictures of a manifold/valve in a few days.

To get rid of the powdercoating, you can probably try bead blasting. Most places that do it will do it pretty cheap. I got my intake manifold bead blasted for $20.
