Summers coming..... few days ago here in chicago the weather was really HOT... so i turned on the air condition and it seems like it's not performing well. it's still cold but not as cold as it used to be. what do i need to do? and how hard is it? cost?

You need to have it tuned up by an A/C specialist.

autozone.. 2 cans of r143a, 1 can of r134a oil and 1 can of stop leak to check for leaks and maybe even stop a leak (yea rite). You will also need a quick connnect hose that comes with the gauge. First check the pressure with the guage and see how empty it is. If it is completley empty use in the following order, both cans of r134a, then the can of 134a oil then the stop leak. after the last can inspect the hoses and look for leaks. hope this helps. If your a little low then just plug 1 can of r143a and maube a little r143a oil to be on safe side.

you have a leak..find the leak and fix it first or you'll be recharging all the time.
