I need to know the torque specifications for properly installing the clutch and flywheel in a 2K Maxima. Anyone have access to a Nissan FSM

don't you still need to set the torque when using an air ratchet?Originally posted by Ramius83

Ah particular reason NOT to buy a Nissan fsm or a cheap Chiltons when doing such important work? Not a good time to be screwing around by guessing when a mistake will require you to take off the tranny again. Not only are there specs for the flywheel bolts but pp bolts, tranny bolts etc.......
Unless I really knew someone here, I wouldn't trust what someone posted w/o checking the fsm anyway.

most flywheels torque specs are low, i wouldnt do anymore than 30lbs. i know my supra was about 17lbs.
