Engine Status

Performed the compression test on all 6 and they checked out fine (most were 170, some were just a tad below, maybe 165), which I guess is good news for now I suppose.

As for pulling the heads, does that mean only the valve cover to check on the cams/springs? How do I know what to look for (and what could be damaged, etc.) A pic would most certainly be useful now!

what are you trying to accomplish. If you have that high of compression. your engine is most likely fine... Is there something specific you're looking for...

his MEVI butterfly screws fell off (4 screws) and went into the engine...made a nasty racket...but now the racket is no longer there

hopefully the screws have made their way out the exhaust port and are stuck at the front of the cat
