Problem..please give advice or take a guess

Ok i start the car and it either does one thing or the other. It starts fine and then as i drive the rpms drop while driving or when i first come to a stop, and it acts as if the car is goin to die. But then it gets back to normal and car usually drives fine after that. What could it be that makes the rpms just drop and seem if the cars is just goin to putt out...thanks

Are you saying that when you are coming to a stop or slowing down that when you apply your brakes, the RPMs drop almost to zero then come back up? I had this problem a while back. All I did was clean the throttle body and it cleared right up. Hope this helps.

try checking the fuel injectors, it sounds like your fuel air mixture is bad. could be fuel/air mixture or deposits in the injectors. maybe you have a loose vacuum line or a clog in the the lines, perhaps your mass air flow sensor??? try a fuel injection cleaning solution. whatever you do, try to eliminate the most expensive things by checking lines and such.....

does your car have a power brake booster ? that are usely the symptoms of a power booster going out . as soon as you apply the brakes it suck some vacuum from the manifold and the car starts dying.
