don't know how ...but my leather has cracked!

There are three 1/4 inch cracks in my front passenger seat.

To say I was very upset would be an understatement.

Anyone know how this can be repaired or can anyone recommend
a good leather repair guy in NYC/NJ/BK or SI?

thanks all

(and "yes" I have read raf2k's post below)

Time to get custom two-tone leather.. I'll probably end up doing that.

They have a crack filler product and then you can touch up with their color coat. I've used the rejuvinator oil and the cleaner before and their stuff works.

1/4" is tiny--you mean cracks, right? Not tears? It's totally normal for the vinyl portion of the seat cover to exhibit tiny cracks. As long as you're not seeing underneath the seat cover, just put some cleaner on it to give some moisture and you're fine. I had the entire seat cover replaced under warranty and it was not good because they screwed up the side airbag and the seat back never stays on anymore because the clips don't fit. It's better to leave it intact if possible. Plus you said it's the pass. side.
