Yellow Fogs, Where to get and whats out there?? True Yellow Fogs
I am looking for some yellow h3 bulbs that will give a bright output of yellow. I have searched an all i come up with are piaa and what not, but then i keep reading how its yellow in certain angles and white all around.
I also came across the is300 that has the projector in the lens.
What i want is just some bulbs that will give a nice bright yellow color, not white-yellow.
I have seen some bulbs on ebay such as MTEC H3 ION, koba, Piaa etc.. has anyone had any expierence with the MTEC??
i know i am beating a dead horse and all the rest of the farm animals, but what the word?
This is a stupid question also. HID's are only for bight whiteblue colors. can the same principal of getting yellow out put while still using low consumption wattage as hids.?

actually, the yellow foglights are the true foglights for use in fogs. they beam doesnt reflect back in a fog. we dont get too much fogs around here hence their practical non-existence. back home, they were (and still are) frequently used. funny how normal stuff in some places become vogue in other places.

I bought Philips All-weather H3 bublbs from the UK for about $6 shipped per bulb I believe. The deal was free shipping and a free third bulb with the purchase of two bulbs. So after all that, they were really like $4 per bulb.

Another thing....
Of course, like many of you, I've also researched into getting yellow foglights. I did end up getting some that from up close say less than 15ft or so you can see that it's yellow compared to my phillips HID kit, but NOT EVEN CLOSE to being yellow enough how I wanted it. I researched this a while back and found a clear amber/yellow spray where I was thinking about spraying lightly the reflector of the foglight itself and when combined w/ a yellow bulb, would give the look we're going for. I don't think anything other than a projector itself can bring you the IS/GS look.

something that we can use in our stock fog lights, aftermarket fog lights forget it, you can get those cat lighte or cat eyes, what ever, and you'll see some bright **** yellow lights, there was an suv with bright yellow i think about 100+ watts, those blinded me, i was on the lie one dark night and he was going the opposite way, but that is b/c he probably aimed high and not down

The IS Fogs are yellow because of the yellow lense covering the bulb. It has little if anything to do with the bulb it'self. If we want to mimick this sort of output, we'll have to create a yellow lense for the factory fogs.....so far this spray stuff is closest method
Meccanobe has a pic on his home page I think
