Help - Brake Pad Install

Did you forget to disconnect the parking brake cable?
You might have to slightly open the caliper air bleed and then try rotating the caliper piston.
If that doesn't work you might have to compress the piston in to the cylinder body. I think there are tools made for just this purpose. If you can't locate one you can use blocks of wood placed on the face of the piston and the back of the cylinder body and use a clamp to very gently compress the piston into the cylinder body.
It is imperative that you bleed the entire brake system as shown in the Nissan Service Manual. This should be done whenever you work on the brake system.

Thanks for the advice. I finally got it. I bled off a little pressure, but I think I was pushing in enough while I was turning it. Just took it for a test drive, and the brakes definitely need to be bled. Has anyone posted the instructions online? My Haynes manual is still in the mail.
