anybody know much about the DEI caps? I think I'm going to get one, my lights need a rest from all that bass ;p

DEI usually makes pretty good stuff. I haven't heard anything specifically about their caps, but everything else they stick their name on is quality. I wouldn't be afraid to buy one myself if I was in the market.

haha. I don't really listen to my music BONE crunching loud anymore. I lost my craving for that type of bass a few weeks after I installed my system.

I want the cap for a few reasons

1. I heard it improvies transient bass? or something of the sort
2. I'd like to be able to have that extra reserve when I do need to crack it, say at a competition
3. Those days that I crave bone shattering bass, I'd like to be able to see the road at night ;p

btw, matt, do you hve any writeup on the speaker pods you modified in the door? my component set should be here any day, and I want to prepare myself for the isntall.
