A milestone 12 years in the making...

Check that odometer reading out .

Out of 8 attempts to take the pic (didn't have the capability to check for the perfect shot while driving so I just took 8 consecutive shots), this was the best of the bunch. I've been having my digital camera ready for the past 2 weeks not knowing when the big day would arrive. I even left the camera in my car today, batteries out, to make sure I wouldn't be denied the shot.

Now I just wish I had the foresight to do that when I hit 111,111 and 121,212 miles (yeah, I'm obsessed with unique numbers )

You should have had the trip meter read 7890 as well..

PS - A photochop would've been easier...

If those gauges are reading correctly, say goodbye to your head gaskets.

I knew I'd get the temp comments immediately . For those wondering, the gauge is a bit faulty, no sure how. I had the temperature sending unit checked & replaced, but mechanic said it's not that and might be the gauge at fault. It's had a tendency to jump btwn the middle to H, sometimes immediately after startup, but until I find a working parted out gauge I can use to test it, I won't know for sure. I'll probably open it up and check the wire connections in case that's at fault. It's been running like that for the past few months and I haven't felt any degradation in performance, so I'm guessing nothing is affected aside from a faulty reading.

As for the trip meter, damn... another missed opportunity. And the max is neither daily driver or weekend driver, just a "when I need it, I use it" vehicle. I got public transportation to take me everywhere I need anyways within NYC .

I am trying to think of when to take a pic. I can do it at 277,777 or just wait until 300k.

There was that whole 100,000 at 100mph pic going around, but I doubt I can do 270mph.

How convenient you mention this...

Took that this past winter in my friend's 95 or 96 Camry while driving back from skiing. Wish I had the opportunity to do the same with mine, but I already had 108xxx miles on it when I got the car
