to people who installed aftermarket leather shift boot
To those of you who installed an aftermarket leather shift boot...did you notice that the aftermarket one was longer than the oem one? I installed my own despite it being longer, and now it seems bulky (obviously). Did you guys install it despite the length, or cut it and re-stitch it first?

I got mine from DanNY's group deal, and it fits very well. There may be a bit more material than the OEM one, but it's not real bulky. I'll try and get a pic.

i have the momo one and it was way long. There is just a lot of extra material that i pulled through that wire that tucks in the fabric.
