Last saturday night I was invited to witness some "festivites" in south charlotte. What I didn't know is that I would see that most beautiful maxima I have ever seen in my life. The guy who owned the blue max was super kool. He had a buddy w/ him who drove a 4th gen max w/ nitrous and he burned up the street, racing an RX-7 and also ate up a turbo hatch.

Between the yellow Rx-7, the 2k2 blue max and the champange 4th gen I was impressed. There is some vid footage out there of the races. If I can obtain it I will try to post it.

Welcome too the site Josh...that poor turbo hatch got own3d. Those guys swear up and down I'm spraying especially the rx-7 guy. Nice meeting you and I'm sure I will see you around quite a bit.

I'll be at rockingham this coming Sat night competing in the finals of the brackets that was PPD b/c of rain Sunday.

The kid in the hatch brought everything he had, and left wanting!!!! I don't think he even said bye to anyone when he finally left.

Who else is coming? I haven't heard about onyone from the Raleigh crew. I'll probably be there from the earlier festivities but don't have any tires to run on. I might fun run anyway but it's not much fun spinning out and getting 15's.

Its $15 for fun runs or $10 too watch so I'd say pay an extra $5 and run some. Just depends on the weather what my dial in will be. More than likely a 14.1-14.2 ....

 

doubt anyone from raleigh will be going... me and Bill (ravez) are taking his poor 350Z to maryland Saturday morning... Mike (marcdown) is going back to winston salem... and i doubt Will is going by himself. sorry guys...
