ok i just went out about 15 min ago to chage my tag when i realized that there wasnt a tag light.. but... when i toook off my tag i realized that whoever put the bumper on just didnt wire it up becase there was a wire with a connector on just sittin there..so.. is it illegal to drive without one and if it is where would i get one at? anything different i could do to make it look well, different

 

it is illegal, but mines been out for over a year, i've had no problems, and there have been police behind me a few times. I also passed inspection

 

Is it legal to make the lights red. IE put red leds in there. I haven't yet taken out the bulbs because the screws are rusted tight. But my guess is that they are 194's

 

any color other than white is illegal, as far as I know. And yes, they are 194's

 

Well has anyone ever gotten this violation? Whats it worth and are there any points involved?

my friend had the greenish/blue lookin 194's and he got nailed, in PA, not sure bout your state. I woudlent risk it for tag lights....or ask a cop when you see one
