Car is alright.

But who wrote the article? A freaking 4 year old? It makes no sense and epitomizes the ricer mentality. Oh well, guess it doesn't take brains to write articles for an online magazine.

"Now, try getting 200 horsepower out of your little Civic. Yeah, that's right; take a seat tough guy. Of course you could whip out your V6 Accord, but we're talking Maximas and Civics. Maximas and Accords are like apples and oranges. I mean seriously; come on people."

Tell me if that makes any sense at all. A Maxima is closer to a Civic than a Maxima is to a V6 Accord? Wow... I can't believe these people had the brain cells to build a website.

OMG did that guy actually meant to say that the accord is superior to the Max and that the Max is on the same level as the Civic?
Some one needs to hack that site and re-write that article

if there was ever a time to say something, now would be it. first off, let me say that if were to put a 4th gen max against a comparable year accord, the accord would not even stand a chance whether it was v6 or not. fast forward it to today, and again it would get destroyed yet again. now, it's time to talk about something that really annoys me. i hate it when people are always saying that we're too slow bla bla, we're a four door family sedan, etc. last time i checked both the accords and civics had models with four doors. at least to the people that say this and have civics I can tell you that we owners of maximas have a little more cash to spend that gives us more power and comfort. the only reason I would get your kind of car is to save on gas period. now let's see some stats:

2003 Maxima -
265 hp @ 5,800 rpm 255 lb-ft of torque @ 4,400 rpm

2003 Civic Si (let's assume they have a 'fast' one) -
160 hp @ 6,500 rpm 132 lb-ft of torque @ 5,000 rpm

2003 Civic Coupe (it has TWO doors so watch out) -
127 hp @ 6,300 rpm 114 lb-ft of torque @ 4,800 rpm

2003 Honda Accord Coupe (we're not in their league though) -
240 hp @ 6,250 rpm 212 lb-ft of torque @ 5,000 rpm

so now who is a slow four door family sedan? maximas now have better numbers on paper than Acura CL Type S's. and there is no way that those hondas are in the same league as them. :\ well that's my two cents.

The key to success of an eye-catching and appealing car is a very simple equation. Rims + body kit - tacky crap = one smooth ride. Of course there are modifications and variations of

so this guy really thinks this maxima ISNT rice??! If I saw that car on the streets id probably wreck my car laughing soo hard.

Its funny hes trying to be anti-ricer and compares a max to a civic?

Hm, is he trying to get stillen to donate to his site or something?.. That car looks like a$s, I don't even think it has a stillen exhaust.. http://www.eastsideracer.com/Viewers...ma/maxima8.htm

The writer seems like a complete ricer, the car is extremely tacky and he is loving every bit of it.

Horrible. Why do people take sites like this seriously? Why? Here is a little quote from the main page of this site.

Of course, if there's something that you don't see that you'd like to, or something you think we could do better, shout us a holler. Chances are, you have a higher IQ than we do anyway.

I don't know what does the Maxima has to do with the Civic. They are two different classes yet, a beast and a prey (we all know whos that prey is, Civic) I think they are talking about the tuning and modifying your car like Civic owners does. Hmmm...this article is pointless and those writer are probably never had driven a Maxima. So they don't know JACK!

I don't know about this author, I feel that Accord have tacky interior. The Maxima has more of a rich quality material. Geez I don't know where that author get the idea of the Accord is better than the Maxima.

Along with the innumerable audio components, there is also a reverse face gauge and various gauges from Autometer.
yes because we all know, reverse gauges add at least 25 extra HP alone....

*edit* is that title normal? seeing as i haven't created any threads yet asking ?'s about stuff......

Thanks to Steve Millen and his crew, the Maxima is not coupled to a Stillen intake and exhaust.

Huh? What?

I just don't understand, if the guy who owns the car has any respect for his own car why he would want it "featured" a site like that?
