I've calmed down and decided to keep my VI

Yeah, it was for sale for a day after frying my harlan but I'm going to give it another go when I get time. I don't do the 1/4 mile much but I run the highway everyday. After talking with Confused, Bags, Jay25, Sprint and my fellow moderators, I decided to give it a go later but when the wife and kids are away for a day or so.

I waited forever to get this thing so I will put it back on. I was too ****ed to deal with it anymore after last week but I'll keep fighting like the rest of you. No pain, No gain!

I put the USIM back on but I know what I'm doing when it comes to taking it off and putting it on. The Vacuum and electrical stuff got me frustrated. Do you guys know much about the Summit RPM switch? I need to know if it really doesn't work if you have it tapped to the coil instead of the tach signal wire on the ECU?

I have the Summit tapped to the tach wire on the ECU. Has worked flawlessly every time. (you can feel the surge of power)

I had it hooked to the coil and it didn't do squat. I'll send it back to Summit to make sure its working right.

It won't work tapped into the coil. You have to run it off the tach signal, either the TAM screw or the green/white tach wire on the ECU harness.
