Post-Conversion issues...calling all converts

Ok...everything is still going well with the car but for a couple of "little" things. First of all, I still cannot figure out why the cruise control is not working. The button lights up but it won't set or hold any speed. Any thoughts? Secondly, the horn is also not working, I figured that both the CC and the horn are connected somewhere and also determined that the connection is not getting power. its just a matter of finding this connection?

Another issue I've got is trying to locate the Intake Air Temperature sensor on the 97. During the conversion, I put the 95 intake back in by accident...didn't think there was a difference but apparently there is, and I need to plug in the IAT sensor and can't find it on the 97 air bx which I have, so where is it supposed to be? A pic would be very helpful!

Once I get these figured out...I'll be golden. Any help is appreciated!

how are you keeping the cel off and how have you rigged it to start... See in the auto the nuetral switch (you are bypassing it so the car will start per Harold's instructions) only registers this during park and N.. If you have it direct wired the cruise won't fire because the car thinks it is in "N" hence you should have rigged it to the pedal..
Well your horn has nothing to do w/ the conversion.. also you have an additional plug in the 97 vs 95 intake crap.. hence you have something unplugeed....

Ok...first of all...CEL is ON!...not off hence the codes indicating the AITS (Air intake temp sensor) Secondly...I fully converted my car becuase I had my donor 97...which I completely stripped (accident) and completely stripped the 95 (new one) and replaced everything like it came from the factory. The car couldn't possibly think its in N as all auto stuff has been removed and replaced with manual stuff! (ALL OF IT) except the steering column. I figure the horn and the cruise were linked because initially, the radio was not working either but I found that it needed the constant power...which led me to believe it may be a power issue. Intake wise...I'm using the 97 harness and ECU and still throw the codes

where did you locate your AITS? i left my AITS in the midpipe for my short ram setup, and left it in my intake pipe (after the MAF) for my cold air intake setup. i haven't got a CEL for the last 1 year so far.

btw my cruise control wasn't working for awhile as well. it disabled ever since i tightened my throttle cable. i reset my ECU and it just magically worked i don't know if that helped but just throwing out ideas hopefully that helped...

I had the same problem when i took my dash apart. The cruise and the horn are on the same harness. Make sure the harness is plugged in. the head of the harness is located inside the dash near the center..(between the steering wheel and the radio)

I left it unplugged and my horn and my cruise stopped working

I've got reverse lights...no issue there at all...just no CC and Horn...looks like I've got to get in there and check the harness under the dash as mentioned earlier
