That definitely isn't possible. The VQ's an aluminum block motor. You can't bore them very much. You might get .1L out of it, if that much.

I have TCS and I passed on other Max's to obtain this specific option in conjunction with all the other mfgr. options I was looking for in an 02' GLE. The down-side, I could only find "the total package" I wanted in this market in a black car (wanted silver or white w/ black leather - I had a 4th gen white GLE w/ black leather in the late 90's that looked sweet).

Yes, I do live in a "snowy place" (Great Lakes region) hence the desire for the Meridian package (heated seats, mirrors and steering wheel) w/ TCS. This option package combined with minor suspension enhancements (FSTB/RSB) and Michelin Pilot Sport A/S's will provide adequate year-round driveability without much compromise to GLE ride quality (ride-quality I specifically want).

Lastly, "kicks in on the fun?" Switch TCS off if desired.
