Ever heard of a Bully clutch?

Brought the Max in for a new clutch and tranny release bearings last week. My mechanic calls me up and asks me if I'd be interested in a Stage 1 Bully clutch (35% over stock) for 80$ more, so I accept. He calls me back 15mins later telling me his supplier has run out of Stage1 but he can put in a Stage3 for the same price

Anyone ever heard of Bully?
Is there a downfall to putting a stage 3 clutch in a Max?

thanks

sorry pal,
have never heard of a bully clutch on this org. I recommand not going with it. If it's really stage 3, it might tear you tranny apart.

I wouldn't do anything but the stage 1

Also took me 5secs when I checked it out before posting, thanks.
However, I'm also looking for an unbiased opinion on this product. I know Stage 3 is 50% over stock....too much? How much is ACT over stock?

You really want to put one of those 3-6 puck type clutches in your car?

Would you suggest otherwise? To be honest, I'm not very familiar with clutch designs, what negative effects would a puck design have?

It's the 6 puck design that would go in my car.

Okay. The act is about 39%ish percent over stock. PLENTY for ALL na applications. Probably too much. Going up to the puck style clutches will make drivability crap, tear up your tranny and will be massive overkill in your application. Even boosted guys don't need this type(yet)
