burnouts?

dont hate me cuz this stupid question..but how exactly do you burnout? i kno you pull the emergency brake up, rev it up, pop the clutch and spin away, but do you just stay in first gear and not floor it and try to keep rpms up high but not past redline? also, is it bad for the car other than the cluth and tires?

rev it up to 6500 rpm and pop the clutch. then pop your bank account...good night

Seriously, get you revs up to like 2500 and dump the clutch (let it snap back up). That'll get you a good two to three seconds, at least it did for my old car. Play with higher revs at your own risk.
