to where your filter is. I just went to clean mine last night and found it at the bottom of the compartment. I didn't hear it bouncing, and I know I tightened that puppy.
Who knows how long its been there?

Looks like I'm ok, no dirt on the maf screen and the bottom of the pipe was fairly clean.

Damn, you scared me for a sec Brett. This winter has done some damage to my CAI filter. Remember, i dont have the fog light to sit there and protect it. Damn.

This is what I did

Ok, after having installed my CAI, within the first week the filter came off. I was like, wtf. So, this is what I did. I purchased three long metric screws that go into the filter. I cut off the top of the screws and thread the one end into each hole of the filter. I then drilled three holes that would line up with that into my car (around the 3.5 inch hole). I then placed that black piece on the filter and pushed the filter up into the fenderwell. Then, I screwed down these screws with locking nuts. When I did this, you could secure the filter to the actually body of the car. Guaranteed not to fall off. Email me if you need more info. Take it easy
