3 kills and 1 lost
Normally I don't post this...
These kills were with mom's Camry . This car hauls serious ***! My first kill was with a red Monte Carlo Z34 (I'm guessing it is because I see dual exhaust). We started out at 20mph and punch it. I got him right away and pulled all the way to 70mph and I slowed down because its a 45mph zone (!). I didn't look back when I was racing to see how far back he was. Next kill was with the older body style Grand Prix. I'm not sure with model it was but it was the 95-96 body package. I'm pretty sure it was the 3.1L. This was at a stoplight. I glanced over and see him looking at my car. He revs and I do, too. My reaction time was bad on this one and he got me at the green. He was aleast 1 1/2car lengths ahead but I was gaining. By the time I hit 45mph I passed him and was 2 car lengths ahead of him by 75mph. Next kill was with a 91 Maxima SE ( I know my Maxima's
. I'm pretty sure it was a 5speed because It jerked on each shift. We were side by side until 40mph and I pulled on him. Raced ended when I was at 65mph.
Now the lost..
This wasn't that bad considering I wasn't driving my Maxima. It was with a Integra GSR. This was from 10mph-80mph. I got him at first until we were at 55mph, he started to gain and then passed me. The front of my car was at his door and it stayed that way until 80mph. He was ahead of me so I considered this a lost even though I hung with him at his door. This thing's got top-end!
I love V6 Camry's. I wish my mom learned how to drive a manual. Maybe then she could have gotten a 5speed version and I could have gotten a stick, too!
