01 GXE wheels for my 02 SE, is it feasible ???

I was thinking about switching to dr's for the track in the Spring. I currently cut 2.2xx 60' times on my Sumi HTR+'s, but was interested in running 2.0xx's and was wondering if running with front bfg dr's would allow me to do this. If the old adage hold true, every .10 on the 60' being worth .20 in the e.t., then I could potentially be running 14.3x-4x's without a sweat if I can only cut a 2.0xx 60'...Is 2.0's possible with fwd cars ? My friends Z06 runs 1.9's on oem's and 1.7's on dr's, but 1) it's RWD, and it has 140 lb/ft tq more than I have....

My other question is if I can get some junkyard 01 GXE 15" wheels (according to tirerack.com oem tire for this wheel is 205/65-15), can I slap 205/50R15 or 225/50R15 BFG DR's on them ???

The stock 02 SE tires are 225, so they are a bit wider than the 205 01 GXE wheels...You guys think it's counter-productive to go to a skinnier tire, Even if it is a drag radial ? Will there be any fitment issues with the 01 wheel ? I'm sorta excited about this prospect, but wanted to bounce it off all you guys, since you guys are in the know...FWIW, I haven't seen a lot of orgers go with dr's, It would be interesting to find out how they have fared....
