Hyperwhite blinkers?

I was thinkin about changing my blinkers to hyperwhite (i do have clear corners so there would be no amber at all), i have heard that it was legal but i just want to be safe, does anybody know if it is legal to have a hyperwhite blinker light or does it have to be amber no matter wut.
Thanks in advanced...

In CT many people have hypers in there clears but a legal problem not really. As long as the bulbs are not too blue meaning show a police flasher thingy blue then your ok to go. Check with your local authorities because i have been in Jersey and they will ticket you. Most cops and drivers care less because It's the rear blinkers that might only be amber because everybody and their mother have hypers now. If you do get ticketed just replace the bulbs with an amber and show the judge. They might drop the charges. You could get the chrome bulbs that are hyperwhite. Look on ebay.

It is illegal, but if you get white ones then you should be fine, just don't get blue colored ones! That will get you a ticket

Technically anything but amber is illegal. Just check your local laws. I used to run blue-ish tinted corners and just switched to ambers for legality reasons....

Again, many cops wont bug you if their not amber, but of course, there are those few...

I just use the amber bulbs. They look fine IMO and they are definatly legal. White markers would be legal IF we had some other sort of orange/red marker, like many cars have in the headlight assembly. But we dont, so we hafta (I'm 99% sure) have the amber markers

I have hyperwhites up front and in the back for turn signals. been that way for months, nobody's said a word about it.

now on the other hand, if you're doing something stupid, and get pulled over for another reason, the cop will probably tack on another ticket for the blinkers just to be an ***. so be prepared for that.

Their just following the law. Thats what they are here to do. Unfortunately, sometimes they must enforce dumb laws (window tint for example...so glad i live in FL). Its always the assinine (sp?) cops that give cops a bad name. Ive had about 3 different ones pull me over and give me breaks. One even joked with me, he was very cool...

according to my experience:

all hyperwhite setup: KOBA 4,800k, raybrigs 1156 rewired, raybrigs 1157 and 194 will give you project nearly all same white color.

right i have this setup:
diamond blue 9004, stock 1157 rewired, no 194, and stock 1156. they match perfectly, and a lot brighter than my rice setup. i like it a lot cuz i can see the road better

rice is gettin old...

different states ahve different regulations. in california white amber or yellow (i think) is legal. blue and red, etc are not. just check your state's DMV site and look through the rules/regulations.

Well, normall the Hyperwhites are Blue, but blink white. Thats what I have in my car now. shows a blue reflection, but blink white at night. Shouldnt be illegal because most older cars have clear lenses in the front (IE Old trans Amm and etc) and there blinkers blink white. So you shouldnt have a problem

I have the Red/Clear tails in, with the stock white bulb, and that blinker is a BEAST! Had cops behind me and they never said anything, blinks white and its a bright white at that

I figure I wont change unless they say something, so go for it man!, Plus, the clear hyperwhite sin the DC lenses look better, gives it a blue effect in the housing and not orange.
