PIAA Plasma Bulbs
PIAA Plasma Bulbs
This past weekend I had both of my headlight bulbs go out. They are PIAA plasmas. I was wondering if anyone else might be having any problems with their headlights failing with the crazy low temperatures that have been happening in parts of the country.
Also, I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for new headlight bulbs. These are my second set of PIAAs in the past two years and I don't think I will be buying them again. Too much money for only a years worth of use. I made sure that I put them in without touching anything and they still didn't last a year. Very upsetting.

First off.. I believe piaa has a warentee, and you should be able to replace them for free... but if not a suggestion I have is not to turn your car on with the headlights on the "on" position... if you shut your car off with your headlights on, turn them off after you shut it off before you turn it on, that should help increase the length of the life of the bulb....
Sorry, no ideas for which bulb you might like better, all personal peference... I like sylvania's, but they aren't blue, they are just white... I've also had the plazmas and many other types... or do what I did and just go HID lol

Thanks for your suggestions. I always turn off the headlights before turning off the car and make sure they are off before I turn it on. Maybe I'll try another type of PIAA bulb like the ones that were mentioned. I wish I could get HID, maybe when the income tax check comes in.

I definitely want some for my 2k, but they are all like $600+
