Ok, my brother called me from Tucson, where my car is. He said he was driving today and all of a sudden the speakers started playing a static sound. At this point, he was stopped at a stop sign when the car just completely died and the engine cut out. He let it sit for awhile, then restarted the car and it started up with some hesitation. He had the stereo off, but the speakers still made the static noise. What could this possibly be? Also, since my system is running two amps, should I consider getting a capacitor or two? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
