Blue maxima Questions on Paint....

I have a few questions concerning the blue maximas on the links below. Much thanks to the site

Im painting my max this summer and Ive Thought of every possible color. Everytime i come back to the blue for a few reasons.
-Not very Metallic, -Hides Flaws well b/c its such a tasty color

Heres my deal. I want a simple BC/CC , no metallics , no pearls.
This would be my first BC/CC job, im great with enamal paints so im hoping for the best.

Which one of these blues have no metallic or pearl from your view.
I would like for the Owners of these cars to respond with information or paint codes , #'s , specific car it was originated from.

I've tried asking the guys at the paint store but they seem to be annoyed with my question. "which of these are metallics on this page?"

Thanks for any help guys, much appreciated

I like the 1st and 5th mostly. The 2nd one looks like a two tone to me (look on the lip, it looks a bit purple). The 3rd is my favorite color in general, but I don't think it looks good on the Max. 4th looks alright, but as I said, I prefer the first and last.

my blue maxima isnt on there although it is a darker non metallic blue. btw blue wont hide swirls very well on sunny days, especially a non metallic color.

No, it's Matthel's turbo maxima. Number 1 is Ange's.

Hey thanks for all the thoughts guys.
Hey wope wheres ur Homepage at bro? Thanks for the insight on that blue color. So how often are you seeing the swirls on ur max. Is blue just prone to this type of thing happening.

I like no. 5 Too. appears to have no metallic finish at all from my view.

Shadow- i was tempted to put your car on there as well but i believe u have the ViperBlue F&F color correct?

This will be my first time spraying a car some im somewhat scard as to what im getting into.
Id like to try a few candy paints from this site as well but im not very positive on the Quality/Price of this paint product. Please view this link to see the Candy types im referring to.. http://www.alsacorp.com/products/can...candy_show.htm

Any opinion's on that blue displayed here.
thanks. west

why not go with Honda's SI blue, ts similiar to pic 5 and Im pretty sure its just straight blue, only thing is you see that color alot.

and if youve never painted a car before I wouldnt suggest trying to shoot candy for the first time.

Get it done professionally for a nice clean look. And NOT BY MAACO! Nothing kills a paint’s look more like bad prep-work or over-spray
