$200 too much for tint?

So I thought I would add yet another thread about window tint. The best place in Columbus is called Quality Window Tint and in Ohio, and the legal Ohio tint law is 50%. What I'm going for is 30% on the back windows and rear window and 38% on the driver and passenger side windows. For a non-fade version, I was quoted $200 out the door. I'm thinking this may be a bit high, but like I said, they are the best in Columbus.

Yes it seems high. I paid $109 for 35% on all sides. I also saved like 40 bucks in labor because I removed my tint prior to letting them work on my car. They quoted me around $150 if they have to remove the old tint themselves.

In Massachusetts $200 is the norm for tinting your car.

That's nice to hear on tint quotes. My back window has bubbled to hell and high water, plus there are some places where someone or thing scratched the window through the tint (previous owner). So I might get a new tint job this weekend possibly. About how long does it take?

Just curious, why would you tint the front windows darker than the rear. I would think it the other way around.

It may be a bit steep, but quality is worth it! If they're the best I would say go for it.

Who tinted the front darker than the rear? 30% in the rear would be darker than the 38% in the front...
