On the passenger side front window, I have two scratches in the glass. One is pretty long, but just a surface scuff. The other is shorter but a little deeper. I’ve already called those glass magic/repair people, but they only fix windshields, as it’s a different type of glass. Typically these place only fix the pits/chips, minor cracks and those star cracks on your windsheild.

The only other recommendation I got was rubbing compound, but I don’t know if this will make it worse then better on glass? Please advise, its very annoying on my new car and hate to replace the window just because I’m **** about stuff like that

It really depends... If it's just a surface scratch or scuff, very shallow, you can probably buff it out. Get a coarse window polish, I really like the Zaino window cleaner. Make sure you use a mild abrasive designed for glass. It's worth a shot at least. If it's too deep to buff out, well, your best bet is just getting a new window. With some patience and tools, you can probably install a door window yourself. If you're lucky, you might even be able to get a window from a junkyard but that would probably be pretty hard to find. You can't really do much to repair long scratches, and they'll just get worse over time.
