Check out this site about these bulbs:

http://www.amsportinc.com/ext/Naxos.html

From the looks of these bulbs, I'd have to lump them in the same category as the APC, Hiper, Eurolite and Astra.

The sheer fact that these bulbs are overwattage and have such a heavy amount of tint, does not land them in the category of serious lighting upgrades. Also, these bulbs cannot possibly be certified for use by the DOT.

Bettering the 9004s

I think you'll find that, of all the bulbs out there, the Narva 9004s will probably be the best. I had them, one died, and then I tried the Wagner 9004s. Couldn't tell much of a difference (the Narva may be 1 to 2 percent better, not visibly noticeable), and the price of the Wagner's was half of the Narvas, so I'm sticking with those now. The PIAAs are kinda like Microsoft . . .over-wattage=overhyped.

Uh oh, gonna get some flack for that. FlAME ON!

The Wagner bulbs fall into the same category as the Sylvanias, Philips, GE, Narvas, Stanley and Osrams. The only thing about the Wagners is that they are harder to find.

I've had the Naxos bulbs for about 4 months, they're ok in the city, but on dark country roads or when it rains they just suck!
