Engine oil burning-Help

Hey guys. I just recently bought a 95 Maxima SE, and I noticed a burning smell coming from the engine. Usually when I'm on the freeway, or reaching higher speeds, I can smell what seems to be oil burning. I checked all of my levels and they look good, plus I can't find any problems. There are no warning lights, and so I'm pretty confused about how to fix the problem, or what could be happening. Any suggestions, or insight would be really helpful.

Thanks a lot. Much appreciated

Check the valve cover gaskets. I had an '87 that leaked from the valve covers and it'd seep down on the exhaust manifolds then burn off. It was an awful smell. Couple of gaskets later and it was good as new.

Might be something else but it's worth a look.
