Should I wait to put in other mods or is it Ok to to put th e ECU without mods

Perfect time to put it in.. this way you can actually tell the difference with the stock ECU and the UPRD ECU.. this might even be greater because now you can go Dyno the car and see the differences.. pure differences

how much is this ecu
will it work with an auto 97?
im not up on maxima's like i used to be help me out here

G-force ECU was designed for the 95/96 model but can be made to work in a '97. You need to get a core '96 ECU from a junkyard or parts supplier 1st. Then of course is the 02 sensor for another $100...

Its working on mine I need to fix the MIL, but i havent tried out the rear o2 sensor thing..

Weeellll,

If that little orange light is bugging you, in the bottom right of your dash ... Pull it out =) .. I thought of that when I was installing my indiglos, and it seems like it'd be pretty easy, you just have to figure out which one it is (I think there's 4) ..

Doesnt bother me, thats why ive been runnin as is for a while.. so no big deal there.. tho i plan on eventually fixing it..

Just curious about the power that the ecu gave you. I know they showed excellent results for 95/96 and 97 5spds, but not much talk about an 97 auto. Could you give us some details on the power that it put out.- Did you notice better gains wuth the ecu than the y-pipe?
