3,000 miles in 4 days

I'm moving to Seattle, WA next week from NC. Of course I want to make sure my max is running in top shape w/ an oil change(+ all other fluids checked/replaced), tires pressure, belts checked and tightened, etc... Is there anything else in particular that I should consider before getting on the road? Or maybe just some good cross-country driving advice? thanks

Cell phone, spare tire, emergency flares, warm clothing and blanket, and another extra driver, preferably your gf. And most importantly, CASH!
